Quantum Shortlist is in private beta. This page explains in plain language how we handle data during beta. It is a placeholder and will be replaced with a full legal policy before public launch.
What we collect
- Account information: Your email address and any basic details you choose to share, like your name or company.
- Product usage data: Actions you take in the app, like creating a workspace, adding deals, or saving a shortlist.
- Content you submit: Any deal information you paste, forward, or upload into Quantum Shortlist.
- Technical data: Basic device and browser information, IP address, and timestamps. We use this to keep the service reliable and secure.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not scrape Amazon pages.
- We do not expand hidden Amazon short links.
How we use your data
We use the data we collect to:
- Let you sign in and use Quantum Shortlist.
- Save and show your workspaces, deals, and shortlists.
- Improve the product based on how people use it.
- Prevent abuse, fix bugs, and keep the service running.
During beta, we may email you to:
- Send sign in links.
- Share important updates about your account or about the product.
We do not send marketing newsletters without your consent.
Analytics and error monitoring
We use basic monitoring tools to understand crashes, errors, and performance issues. These tools may receive technical details, like device type and error context. We try to avoid sending sensitive content to these tools.
Logs
We keep logs to help us debug problems and protect the service from abuse. Logs may include IP addresses, timestamps, and redacted request details. We aim to keep logs as lightweight and privacy conscious as possible.
Data sharing
We only share data with service providers that help us run Quantum Shortlist, such as:
- Hosting and database providers.
- Email delivery services.
- Error and performance monitoring tools.
These providers process data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.
Data retention and deletion
During beta, we keep your data only as long as we need it to provide the service and improve it.
If you want your account or workspace deleted, email us at support@quantumshortlist.example. We will delete or anonymize your data where reasonably possible.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encryption for sensitive data and access controls. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to reduce risk.
Children
Quantum Shortlist is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us at support@quantumshortlist.example so we can remove the account.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page as the product matures and before public launch. If we make significant changes, we will post a notice on the site.
